Ariff Ismail

Ariff Ismail, 37, Male, Malaysian, is an Alternate Director to Mohd Irwan Ahmad Mustafa. He was appointed on 15 April 2026.

He is currently Head of Cluster in the Strategic Investments Division at Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), where he is responsible for monitoring the performance and driving value creation initiatives for strategic and core investee companies. He also has experience working in the Prime Minister’s Office, where he was seconded in 2021.

He began his career at PNB as a Management Trainee in 2012 and subsequently served in the Office of the President and Group Chief Executive in 2013. Over the years, he has served in various positions within PNB, including Senior Analyst and Associate Manager in Public Equity and has served several managerial positions in the Strategic Investments Division of PNB.

He holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer & Business Studies from the University of Warwick and a Certificate Shariah from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia.
