Statement in Response to Report by foresthints.news dated 4 February 2019

Foresthints published a report dated 4th February 2019 (‘Palm Oil Supplier Continues to Disrespect Government Sanction’), which links the Pundi Lahan Khatulistiwa Group to Sime Darby Plantation (SDP).

We wish to clarify that this is inaccurate, and that the Pundi Lahan Khatulistiwa Group does not supply to SDP. For further details, please refer to our list of supplying mills as published on our website: https://www.sdguthrie.com/sustainability/open-palm-traceability....

SDP welcomes the efforts by Foresthints in helping to illuminate unacceptable practices within supply chains. We would also like to better understand how this inaccurate link has been made and would welcome any input from Foresthints on this.
