Shahrizan Aini Shamsul Khalil

Shahrizan Aini, 54, Female, Malaysian, was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer of SD Guthrie Berhad (formerly known as Sime Darby Plantation Berhad) (SD Guthrie) on 15 August 2024.

Shahrizan began her career with Maybank in 1995 before joining the Sime Darby Group in 1996. While working in the Strategy and Business Development Unit, she developed a passion for research, analytics, and strategic planning. Over her 30-year career, she has held various roles focusing on these core areas.

In 2004, Shahrizan joined SD Guthrie, and within three years advanced to Vice President of Market Research and Analysis under the commodities trading arm. In 2018, she was appointed Head of Corporate Services at SD Guthrie International (formerly known as Sime Darby Oils) (SDGI), overseeing Strategy & Price Risk Management, Options Trading & Market Intelligence, Downstream Value Management (Strategy, Planning, and Performance Management), Corporate Branding, and Talent Management.

In 2023, Shahrizan was appointed Head of Human Resources and Corporate Services at SDGI, where she further extended her expertise to Talent Acquisition and Human Capital Management. Subsequently, in 2024, she assumed the position of Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer at SD Guthrie, and in August 2024, she was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer.

Shahrizan holds a Bachelor (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from London South Bank University, United Kingdom (UK) and obtained her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification from the Emile Woolf School of Accountancy, London, UK.
